Working on the Jerk For Girevoy Sport

One important aspect in training for kettlebell sport is learning how to do the Jerk. It is an unnatural movement for me when coming from a conventional weightlifting background. Remember, we were always told to lock our legs when performing an overhead press.

The Jerk requires a second dip that allows the legs to carry most of the workload. Your arms must be locked out before you stand to make this happen.

So here is a video of me learning to go deeper in the second dip for the Jerk.
