Heavy Golf Swing Exercise For Longer Drives – Lateral Kettlebell Snatch

A lateral kettlebell snatch is a great way to build the power of the golf swing on the upper body without involving the hips.  The lateral snatch will build shoulder strength, upper lats, as well as the obliques, which are needed for a long powerful drive.

Warning: DO NOT HIT YOUR KNEES.

The video below demonstrates that new golfers to this exercise should use a wall or cage to keep the bell away from the knees.

Make sure you do equal reps with both arms to improve muscle imbalances from playing golf from the dominant side.
