2 Great Golf Core Exercises For Strong Abs And Shoulders

Most golfers know you are only as good as your weakest link. For many that weak link is their overall conditioning. If your midsection and shoulders give out early in the game, all the technique in the world won’t save you.

Older golf athletes can truly benefit from a program designed specifically to strengthen their shoulders and core, thus improving the joy and quality of their game. Here are two exercises I recommend that i use on my golf athletes.

Video below shows:

  1. 65lbs band with arms locked into a forward stroke. The idea is to feel all the tension on the anterior deltoids (front shoulders) and your abs (specifically around your naval).
  2. Oblique-Trap-Pulls
